(October 17, 2022) ATLANTA, GA – The Association for Dressings & Sauces (ADS) named Duke’s Spicy Coleslaw Dressing from Richmond-based Sauer Brands, Inc. as the winner of its Dressing of the Year Award. The announcement was made during the ADS 2022 Annual Business Forum in Charleston, South Carolina from October 9-11.

Duke’s Spicy Coleslaw Dressing combines the tangy taste of Duke’s Mayo with a kick of southern-style hot sauce, a dash of cayenne pepper and a blend of Cajun herbs and spices.

“Duke’s focus recently has been to innovate outside of our core mayonnaise items and the launch of Duke’s Spicy Coleslaw Dressing, and its popularity since launching last year is validation that we can extend the Southern heritage of the brand into new items”, said Joe Tuza, Sauer Brands Condiment Business Unit President/ Captain Condiment. “We’re grateful to the members of ADS for honoring Duke’s Spicy Coleslaw Dressing with this award.”

The Dressing of the Year award is presented by ADS to recognize and celebrate truly innovative and delicious products. Nominations for the award were received earlier in the year and attendees of the 2022 Technical Meeting in Norfolk, Virginia, voted via blind taste tests, based on the dressing deemed to have the best overall taste.
